Né de la rencontre entre les sons populaires d’Amérique latine et une approche musicale libre et débridée, Lachinos propose un cocktail explosif aux accents psychédéliques, électroniques et rock. Porté par le musicien colombien Nicolas Cubillos, le groupe réunit une équipe de scène effervescente et des influences sans frontières.
Autour de Nicolas Cubillos, on retrouve désormais trois musiciens phares de la scène musicale péruvienne et colombienne d’avant-garde : Ernesto Velarde (Moldes, Juan Wauters) à la batterie, Santiago Jimenez (Mamíferos, Las Migrañas) aux claviers et à la voix, Julian Mayorga (Flash Amazonas) à la basse et au chant.
Avec cette équipe, Nicolas poursuit son exploration vertigineuse consistant à faire passer les sons populaires qui peuplaient le salon familial à travers le chas de son aiguille impertinente. Celle-là même avec laquelle il assemble minutieusement dans ses textes réalité quotidienne, univers fantastiques et inspirations orientales.
Sur scène, c’est l’humour et l’énergie électrique qui viennent nourrir une mise en scène fantasque où dialoguent toutes ces influences et origines, pour offrir un son original qui ne laisse aucun danseur indifférent.
Born from the meeting of Latin America’s popular sounds and a free-spirited, uninhibited musical approach, Lachinos delivers an explosive blend infused with psychedelic, electronic, and rock influences. Led by Colombian musician Nicolas Cubillos, the band brings together a vibrant live lineup and a borderless range of inspirations.
Alongside Nicolas Cubillos are three key figures from the avant-garde Peruvian and Colombian music scenes: Ernesto Velarde (Moldes, Juan Wauters) on drums, Santiago Jimenez (Mamíferos, Las Migrañas) on keyboards and vocals, and Julian Mayorga (Flash Amazonas) on bass and vocals.
With this lineup, Nicolas continues his dizzying exploration of filtering the popular sounds that once filled his family home through the eye of his irreverent needle. The same needle with which he meticulously weaves together everyday reality, fantastical worlds, and Eastern influences in his lyrics.
On stage, humor and electrifying energy fuel a whimsical performance where all these influences and origins come together, creating a distinctive sound that leaves no dancer untouched.
